Jax’s wisdoms for those shooting Sunday. Regarding your tan...

If most of you have competed you kinda know how the spray works. I would probably shower after the show and again in the morning to get all of the extra DHA off, it will help keep it from continuing to develop. Also lotion up after each shower, it will help keep the tan moisturized and a bit more even. I typically exfoliate my feet and palms pretty good because those always come out the weirdest looking after the spray. Try not to exfoliate super hard any where else on the body because the tan will start to look splotchy. Also try to avoid deodorant if you can as long as you can so the pits don’t look weird and ladies if you can avoid bras that will help avoid weird lines on your back and shoulders!

I’ve competed a few times and was an airbrush tech so if you have any questions I will try to answer them the best I can! :)

Oh also just use soap and your hands to get the excess off of your body. Don’t use a wash cloth or loofa unless you’re working on your hands and feet! After the shoot, scrub away if you don’t want the color any longer.

Fun fact if the techs never told you, the deodorant has a chemical reaction with the dha and it turns your armpits green. So we will know who couldn’t resist using the deodorant ;)
